This was intended to be a quick practice session on not relying so much on my line art to carry the details of an image- something that will help me expand upon my style whilst also being able to have fun with details[i.e. fur] without having to be restricted by my lines.

And Sig, Lux's somewhat feral ladyfriend/partner/mate/girl within the Sanctus Sol universe belongs to a friend.

Wow this picture speaks volumes of emotions that capture her face and deep expressions of wanting to feel wanted and loved and understood and respected. I'd really live to see more of Sig she's a wonderful character

For a moment I was wondering how on earth it would be raining, but then I remembered.

Forever envious of your colour choices. You really get a sense of just how alone Sig is feeling.

I'm really impressed by the transition you've made from just the previous piece you finished to this one, incorporating hardly a fraction of the original linework into the final image. It looks like you're becoming a bit more bold with your strokes as well in some areas.

I think having the new tablet helps a lot with the bolder strokes; I can just get a line down instead of tentatively working my way towards the edge lineart/area to be colored/character for fear of having to constantly switch back and forth between the brush and the eraser. It's also a lot easier to steady my hands- FEELS GOOD TO BE DRAWING AGAIN.
